1: Slice chicken breasts in half and pound them to tenderize. 2: Coat the chicken with flour, salt, and pepper. 3: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. 4: Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. 5: Transfer chicken to a paper towel-lined plate and season with salt and pepper. 6: In the same pan, cook sliced onions for 3-4 minutes until lightly golden. 7: Add sliced mushrooms and cook for an additional 2 minutes. 8: Deglaze the pan with Marsala wine, stirring to incorporate the brown bits. 9: Let the Marsala wine reduce for 1-2 minutes. 10: Add chicken broth, garlic, herbs, and balsamic vinegar to the pan and let simmer for 5 minutes. 11: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. 12: Return the chicken to the pan and simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes. 13: Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. 14: Garnish with parsley and serve with pasta or mashed potatoes.View original recipe
