Instructions
1: Cut chicken into bite-size pieces and season with salt, black pepper, and white pepper. 2: Load the chicken into a large Ziploc bag and toss in cornstarch, flour, and oil, then mix. 3: Preheat the oven to 425°F. 4: Lay the chicken on a baking sheet, making sure the pieces are spaced apart. 5: Cook for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through. Optionally, broil for 1 to 2 minutes to crisp. 6: To create the sauce, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. 7: Sauté minced ginger and garlic for 30 seconds, being careful not to burn. 8: Add red chili flakes, hoisin sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, honey, ketchup, and soy sauce. Cook for a couple of minutes. 9: Taste and adjust the sauce as needed. 10: Add the cooked chicken to the sauce, stir, and allow to coat. 11: Garnish with sesame seeds and serve with rice or stir-fried veggies.View original recipe
