tsp onion powder

tbsp italian seasoning

tsp red chili flakes

tbsp tomato paste

tsp white sugar

cup sauvignon blanc
cup bone broth
lemon

flatleaf parsley
Instructions
1: Clean off mussels with a damp paper towel and inspect live mussels for dead ones. Discard the open ones. 2: In a large pan, heat oil on medium heat. Add in onion, tomato, and garlic. 3: Add in the seasonings with tomato paste and stir. Cover and cook for a few minutes until the tomatoes become soft. 4: Uncover and add in a teaspoon of sugar to reduce the acidity of the tomato. 5: Add in white wine and chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 6: Add back in your mussels and cook covered for six minutes until they open (if using live mussels). 7: Garnish with parsley and serve.View original recipe
