Instructions
1: Boil the russet potatoes until fork tender, about 20 minutes. 2: To the boiled potatoes, add in butter, seasonings, and shredded cheddar cheese, then mix. 3: Add the mixture to a greased 9x13 baking dish. 4: Peel and slice 2 large russet potatoes into halves lengthwise and then into 1/8 inch slices. 5: Toss the slices into melted butter, Parmesan cheese, seasoning, salt, and pepper. 6: Layer the sliced potatoes in straight rows over the mashed potato mixture in the baking dish. 7: Cover with tinfoil and bake for 45 minutes at 425°F. 8: Remove from the oven, take off the foil, and add more Parmesan cheese and a small amount of Gruyère on top. 9: Bake until golden brown uncovered and enjoy!View original recipe
