1: Season steak tips with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. 2: Use a fork to pierce potatoes, cover with a damp paper towel, and microwave for 3-4 minutes until tender. 3: Slice the potatoes in half and place them into an oiled skillet. 4: Add 1/2 stick of butter and salt to the skillet, allowing the potatoes to brown on medium low heat for about 5 minutes. 5: Flip the potatoes, turn the heat to medium high, and add in onion and garlic.
