1: Season the burger patties with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. 2: In an oiled skillet or grill pan, cook the patties on medium-high heat for 4 minutes on each side (6 minutes for well done). 3: Top the burger with cheese and add a splash of beer or water, then cover with a lid to melt the cheese (about 30 seconds). 4: Remove the burgers from heat. 5: In the same pan, turn the heat to medium and add a tablespoon of butter, then add the onions, mushrooms, and garlic. 6: Allow to cook down. 7: Turn the heat to low and toss in the bone broth and cornstarch. Immediately stir. 8: Season with Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and pepper to taste. 9: Allow the sauce to thicken and top the burgers with it, serving extra on the side for dipping.
