1: Brown chicken seasoned with salt and pepper in a tablespoon of butter on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. 2: Add in onion, garlic, and carrots; cook for an additional 2 minutes. 3: Add in broccoli and chicken broth; cover and let simmer until broccoli is soft. 4: Break apart broccoli into smaller pieces using a wooden spoon. 5: If using fresh broccoli that is finely chopped, add it into the broth along with orzo. 6: Cover with a lid and cook for 6 minutes until orzo is soft. 7: Reduce to low heat and add in cheeses, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
