1: Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl or a pan and place your New York strip steak in it. 2: Marinate the steaks for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best results. 3: Heat a cast iron pan to medium heat and coat it with neutral oil. 4: Cook the steaks for 2 minutes on each side for medium rare, or 3 minutes for medium well. 5: During the last minute of cooking, add garlic, rosemary, and butter to the pan and baste the steaks. 6: Remove from heat and allow the steaks to rest before cutting against the grain and serving.
